Dear UUMC Family,
It is with both gratitude and sorrow that we reflect on the life and legacy of Don Wirth, a cherished member of our congregation since 1967. Don's passing marks the end of an era, but his influence and inspiration live on in our hearts and our community.
Don's unwavering commitment to faith, kindness towards all, and dedication to service have been a guiding light for many of us. His presence at our services, his joyful participation in our events, and his wise counsel will be remembered by all who knew him.
Below, please find a letter from our Pastor, Rev. Rubén Esponda, expressing our collective sentiments and some personal reflections on Don's impact on our church family.
In honoring Don's life, we also wish to support one another as we navigate this time of grief. We invite you to share your memories, stories, and tributes in the comments section below or to reach out to us directly.
As arrangements for a memorial service are made, we will keep you updated through our usual channels. Your prayers for Don's family, especially his sister Clara, are deeply appreciated during this time.
Don's life was a testament to the power of faith, love, and community. May we continue to embrace these virtues in his memory and find solace in our shared commitment to the values he held dear.
With heartfelt sympathy,
UUMC Office
