Memorial Services for Robert Ver Steeg

Dear Members of the University UMC Congregation,

As many of you are already aware, we recently lost a cherished member of our community, Robert Ver Steeg. His absence is felt deeply within our congregation, and our thoughts continue to be with his family during this time.

This is a reminder that we will be holding a Memorial Service to celebrate Robert's life, followed by a Celebratory Luncheon. All members of our church family are invited to join us as we honor his memory.

Memorial Service Details:

Date: Saturday, October 28, 2023

Time: 11:30 a.m.

Location: University United Methodist Church Sanctuary

The service will feature hymns, prayers, and shared memories that honor Robert's remarkable life and his contributions to our community.

Celebratory Luncheon:

A luncheon will be held immediately following the service in the Fellowship Hall. We hope you'll stay to share stories and fellowship with one another, as Robert would have wanted us to do.

For those unable to attend in person, we will be livestreaming the Memorial Service. Details for accessing the live stream will be shared in the coming days.
